Drift Protocol, Solana’s ninth-largest decentralized finance (DeFi) platform by total value locked (TVL), announced in a Jan. 1 X post that its Drift airdrop season 2 will commence on May 2025. This will be the second airdrop from the perpetuals trading decentralized exchange (DEX). The DRIFT price hasn’t changed much since the announcement, dropping 1% in the past day, according to Coingecko data .
